BONNETT - Raymond Harry
Born April 8, 1918 in Vancouver, BC, died December 23, 2009 in South Surrey at Rosemary Heights Seniors Village where he resided for the past 18 months. Born to parents Harry and Nora (nee Gibson) Bonnett and was raised in Vancouver. He served in WWII from 1942-1946. Raymond will be remembered for his terrific smile, keenness and knowledge of sports, current affairs, distaste for politics and for the intense love he had for his wife of 60 years, Winnifred who passed away in January 2002. He is survived by his son David (Lorna), grandchildren Nicole, Kelly, Christine, Jeffrey, Nadine, Tracey and great-grandson Wesley. Predeceased are: son Stephen and daughter-in-law Joanne. Loved by family and friends, Raymond will be missed very much by all who knew him.

De Vita, Santo passed away suddenly, January 18, 2010 at Peace Arch Hospital. Santo was born in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy on June 6, 1946 and moved to Vancouver with his family at age 9. Later he married and had two wonderful children, Tina and Sean. After many years of various careers, he focused on his passion, painting. Santo met the love of his life, Marie, on a beach in Spain in 1970 and they had been inseparable ever since. Santo has 5 lovely grandchildren, Antonia, Christopher, Matteo, Nicholas, and Sophia. Santo had an amazing zest and life was never dull with him, all who knew him felt it. He will be dearly missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre. Early on January 18, 2010 Our mother passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mary was predeceased by her husband Thorstein, brother Richard, and daughterFaye.
Lovingly remembered by her family, daughters Ellen, June (Chris), and son Cliff (Sherrell), grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at Evergreen Baptist Home, 1550 Oxford, White Rock at 2:30 pm on Jan. 23, 2010.
Pastor Ken Klassen will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Evergreen
Baptist Home. Thanks to all the staff who cared for Mary for almost 20 yrs.

In her 89 years she shared her love with all her family and friends and we all feel blessed and unconditionally loved. We have you in our hearts until we meet again. Thank you for all the roles you played in life, daughter, sister, wife, mother, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Warm-hearted, you were

Age 64, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010. She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Sharon and her husband Alex moved to St. Petersburg in 2004 from White Rock, B.C.
She loved to travel, especially to meet family in Maui. She absolutely cherished her grandchildren, as they were her life\'s delight. She loved gatherings with family, close friends and her work colleagues and was very fond of her Coke, her Buicks and her new St. Pete home. She always thought of others before herself. Sharon was a true animal lover, and especially adored her beloved dog Fifer. She was an amazing mother, a loving and patient wife, and known to all others as a kind, generous and very special person. She was preceded in death by her father, John H. McLean.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Alex Young; her son, Clint (Michelle) McLean; her daughter, Holly McLean; her sister, Shelley (Barry) Galbiati; her mother, Kathleen McLean; her five grandchildren, Kristen, Jadyn, Austin, Dallas, and Dakota McLean; Alex\' children David & Wenda and grandchildren Myles and Margeaux. Plans for Sharon\'s interment will be at a later date in her home city in Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, voluntary donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

STENNER (Campbell), Vanessa Lanai, May 28, 1970 – January 12, 2010 – Vanessa passed away peacefully on January 12, 2010, with family and close friends at her bedside at Peace Arch Hospital. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Even though Vanessa lost her battle with cancer her spirit was strong till the end and family and friends are at peace that she is smiling down on us from heaven today. Vanessa’s name originates from the Greek name “Butterfly”, and a free-spirited human being she was. Vanessa is survived by her four loving children, Dustin Loewen, Ray Campbell Jr., Royce Campbell and Chanel Campbell. She loved her children dearly, and they her. Vanessa was also survived by her parents, Gordon and Zenovia Stenner, and siblings Tanya Stobbe, Leighton Stenner, Justyn Stenner, Lisa Lowndes, and Thane Stenner. In addition, her sister-in-laws Darci Stenner, Kimberley Stenner, and brother-in-laws Jason Stobbe, and David Lowndes. She will be missed by Jamie Dahl, Ray Campbell (Sr.) and Bernie Loewen. She was born in Vancouver, BC, and was 39 years old when she passed. Vanessa’s legacy will include being a lover of horses, with an adventurous spirit. Vanessa was a highly respected Vice President with RBC Dominion Securities, and was followed by many via her radio program “Your Money. Your Wealth.” She considered her clients as her friends. She had many, many friends who she loved dearly, including Lorraine Rumberg and “Saint”. Vanessa’s spirit will remain with each of us, and we are comforted by her faith in God. There will be a Celebration of her Life on Sunday, January 17th, at 12 pm, at Victory Memorial Park at 14831-28th Ave, Surrey, B.C., (604)536-6522. The burial will commence at 1:30 pm, with a Reception at approximately 2 pm, all at Victory Memorial Park. The family wants to thank all of the wonderful and caring staff at the Peace Arch Hospital and the White Rock Hospice Society, as they were wonderfully caring. In addition, Dr. Warner Spangehl and Dr. Derek Lowe were incredibly compassionate physicians, of which Vanessa’s family is truly grateful. Our dearly loved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Joyce passed unexpectedly on Jan. 11th. She is survived by husband Ernie, sons Trevor and Ron, mother Lucille Hansford, siblings Earl (Cathy), Florence Rivard (Roger), Alfred (Irene); Althaus sisters-in-law Liz Struzcwski, Dora Lank (Wayne), Annamarie Kjemhus, & brothers-in-law Werner, Dan (Carol), David (Margaret). Predeceased by father (Fred) and brother Douglas. Joyce was a bright spot in the world despite illness in recent years that confined her mainly to home. She had an appreciative wit, a keen sense of humor and happy positive attitude. She was an organized person with common sense and was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. A graduate of Semiahmoo High School, she worked for Safeway for several years -retiring to be a full time Mom. Joyce was born in Rabbit Lake, Sask. on Sept 24, 1950. Her family moved to South Surrey in 1956. Ernie and Joyce built their home next door to her parents - Joyce was a source of endless pride to them and they helped each other every day of their lives. She has also been a positive force in the Althaus family and will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews in addition to close friends Patty and Bill. We would like to thank Karen Reed and her Home Support people who helped so much over the years to improve Joyce\'s daily life and her caring Doctor Baasch. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Salvation Army, Surrey or to a charity of choice. A memorial service will be held at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72nd Ave., Surrey at 10:00 am on Monday January 18, 2010. A reception will follow internment.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma & dear friend, at her home due to natural causes. Louise is survived by her best friend Peter, her six children: Shayne, Darryl (Marie), Jerome (Lori), Kerry (Rob), Erin (Colin), and Shawneen (Gordie), 15 grandchildren: Devon (Lester), Solomon, Rose (Marco), Eileen (Jeff), Brenda (Darnell), Kara, Chalsi, Ashli, Nathan, Katie, Anna, Michelle (Aaren), Becky (Colin), Nick and Kyle, six great-grandchildren: Liam, Ella, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Asher and Mason. She is also survived by her sister Fran Humphries (California). Louise grew up in Toronto, Ontario and met Peter while working at the Lord Simcoe Hotel. They married and had their three sons on Centre Island in Toronto. Louise and her growing family then moved to San Diego, California to be close to her mother, Kathleen O\'Brien. Louise then added three daughters to the family. In 1973 Louise, Peter and their six children moved to Vancouver, BC, where she lived in North Vancouver, White Rock and most recently New Westminster. \'\'To make a long story short….,\" Louise devoted her life to her children. She was also a very talented artist and lived her life with great flair! She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We have lost a beautiful, funny, compassionate, talented, creative, tender soul.
We love you Mom always and forever! A memorial mass to honour Louise\'s live will be held on Thursday, January 14 at 11:00 am at Star of the Sea Parish, 1153 Fir Street, White Rock. We would like to give special thanks to the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital\'s Oncology unit and Laurel Place Hospice for taking such wonderful care of our mother during her final days.
