She will be greatly missed by her husband of 61 years, Arvid. Her children, Karin (Darrell) Valair, Lorne (Brenda) Witala, Myrna Lardeur, Debbie (Antoni) Witala-Michaud, her 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and  2 surviving sisters, Laura Reade and Agnes Willis.  <br>Erma was extremely active and enjoyed golfing, curling, bowling, walking and playing cards with her friends. She also loved her flower garden. <br>Erma\'s family are extremely grateful to Dr. Arthur Cheung at ARHCC for the excellent care and guidance he gave. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Leppard, in 1978. He is survived by his son John Leppard of Burnaby, daughter Leslie Froese (Jim Anness) of Delta, son Jim Leppard (Darcie Wright) of Williams Lake, granddaughter Jaimie Tocher (Gerry Tocher), grandsons Matt Froese and Liam Leppard, great grandson Logan Tocher. Also survived by his brother Edward (Ron) Leppard of  Chezzetcook,  Nova Scotia, and special dear friend Aldis Haan of Redding, California.  <br>Les was born on May 27, 1919 in London, England and came to Canada as a baby, settling in Redcliff, Alberta. He served in the RCAF as a wireless instructor from 1939 to 1945. He lived in Abbotsford from the mid 1940s until his death. He was involved in Boy Scouts from the troop to district level, Abbotsford Coin Club as well as other coin clubs in BC and Washington, and worked for Hume and Rumble and BC Hydro for most of his life, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Abbotsford Legion and a lifetime member of IBEW.  <br>Thank you to the staff of Abbotsford Regional Hospital, Baker and Cheam 2 and 3 wards, for their special care in the past months. Pre-deceased by her husband   Gilbert in 1993 after 61 years of marriage.  She was born Agnes Augusta Dowdy on April 1st, 1913 in Hamilton, Ontario.  For years she attended the Hamilton Central Pentecostal Tabernacle. As a young girl she accepted Christ as her saviour and through the years has exhibited a strong faith in God and a bold witness for her saviour, Jesus Christ. She and her husband moved to B.C. in 1947 where they ultimately settled in Abbotsford.  She  and Gilbert attended Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly for many years.  A graveside   service will be held on Friday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m.       in Hazelwood Cemetery with Pastor John Coughlan officiating. She was born in Kamloops BC and moved to the Fraser Valley at a young age residing in Harrison Mills where she was crowned May Queen in 1935. Her passion for travel took her far beyond the Valley in her later years. Friday, Cay slipped away to be with her husband Ted and her daughter Heather.  She is survived by her sons David (Sally), Mike (Bev), Peter and her daughter Jo-Ann (Jim) Larson, son-in- law Tom Clark and daughter-in-law Carol (Craig) Castle.   Cay had 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her greatly.  Her involvement in many organizations over her lifetime included Square Dancing with the Swinging Hubs,  Widows Helping Others, a Lifetime Membership in the Abbotsford Genealogy Society, 30 years of 5 Pin Bowling (go Hooters), Abbotsford Lawn Bowling  Club and Scottish Country Dancing. <br> In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission BC c/o the Fraser Health Region.  The care given to Mom was exceptional and we wish to thank the Doctors and staff at Christine Morrison as well as those at the Abbotsford Hospital. Cays wishes were no funeral. Eva was a special lady; kind, gracious, totally unselfish whilst fiercely independent with a good sense of humour. She will be sadly missed, but she is now where she wants to be.
