Born in Montreal, Warren was raised in the country by the river where he enjoyed many water sports with his dear sister and loving parents.  <br> <br>Warren left for the west coast in 1971. He began his logging career in Port Alice. In 1981 Warren was hired as a Business Agent for N. Vancouver Island. Warren was Local 1-71 President from  1987-1992 when he transferred to the IWA-Canada National Office where he served until 1996 as a thoughtful and determined leader in the IWA. <br> <br>Warren went back to the industry to work in Management roles with Kingcome Enhance Forestry, Interfor and Timberwest. Warren showed that a solid Trade Unionist can in fact maintain his principles and values while working a management position.  <br> <br>When not dedicating himself to work Warren enjoyed his passion for boating and fishing with his family and friends. Warren was a huge hockey fan and was exuberant when cheering on his favourite team. He adored his cats and dogs. <br> <br>Predeceased by his father Milton in 1993, Warren is survived by his loving mother Joan (Calgary) sister Susan, brother-in-law Keith, nephews Dale and Dallas (Calgary) his son Kristopher (Kelowna) and his dear friend Laura (Dartmouth). <br> <br>An intimate celebration of Warren’s life has been held. She was predeceased by her husband, Russ in 2006, as well as her parents, Esther and Alex Taylor and brother, George.  Ella May leaves to cherish her memory daughter Jill Jeffery (Paul), grandson Christopher, her two sisters, Edna Goodfellow (Medicine Hat)  and Elinora Marr (Twin Butte) and their families. Ella May was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on October 7th, 1926.  She worked in Kelowna where she met and married Russ on May 9, 1951.  They ran businesses in Oliver and later in Campbell River. They were a great team, very involved in the communities they lived in.  Ella May and Russ retired in White Rock, and following the death of Russ,  Ella May relocated to Victoria in 2006.  <br>The family wishes to thank Dr. J. Scott (White Rock), Dr.  D.
