She leaves her husband of 44 years Gary Campbell, their children: Carrie (Gary) Martindale, Keith Campbell and Corey Campbell; granddaughters Rianna and Kristen Martindale, all residing in Hope; her father Jack Goldie (Port Alberni) and sister Val Adams (Tofino). Sandi is predeceased by her mother Audrey Goldie.  <br>Sandy was born and grew up in Port Alberni, BC. She met Gary, got married and raised their family in Hope, then they moved to Ucluelet to open Porky\'s Restaurant. Gary and Sandy then moved to Prince George and have resided there for many years. In every place they lived they made great friends who will miss her deeply.  <br>Sandy is a great friend to everyone who knew her, an outstanding mother to her children and their friends who adopted her as their own. You could always have lunch at \"Mrs. Campbell\'s\" house. Grandma to her own grandchildren and always up to a tea party with any of her friend\'s children or grandchildren. She is survived by 2 daughters: Gail Cruikshank (Robert Crewe) and Cheryl (Dale) Vanderhook; son Russel; grandchildren: Kristen (Jarritt), Kevin, Scott and Amber; great grandchildren: Darian and Kylie as well as one brother Robert (Ina) Irwin and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. <br>Sybil was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who always put the needs of her family ahead of her own.  A registered teacher, she taught for a number of years in Saskatchewan, Ontario and for a short time here in Port Alberni. A long time member of the Alberni Valley United Church, Sybil used her teaching skills to teach Sunday School and Explorers for many years and in her later years, was involved in the church Pastoral Care committee. She also volunteered for many years teaching crafts at Moorecroft Camp.   <br>A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Alberni Valley United Church, 3747 Church St. with Rev. Sandra McMillan officiating. A reception will take place immediately following the service in the church hall. He is survived by children Greg Wilson (Bruce Chambers), Katya Wilson, Duncan Wilson (Rowly Johnson), granddaughter Emily, step-daughter Laura Duncan and his brother Barry. <br>Stuart was brought up in the newspaper business as the son of community newspaper owner Irving Wilson. He was a life-long Liberal. <br>An award-winning public relations counsel, he received a life-member award from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) Vancouver. She was also the beloved “Mrs. G” to her granddaughters Elizabeth (Steffan) and Leslie (Alex).  Marilyn is also survived by her mom Sylvia Larsen; brother and sister-in-law Bud and Norma Ward and family; sister and brother-in-law Jim and Fran Myhill-Jones and family; sister and brother-in-law Bernie and Rod Johnson and family; sister Valerie Ward and family; brothers Clayton and Gord Ward, and her best friend Harley. <br>It would be impossible to try to capture the essence of Marilyn in one short paragraph.  Marilyn was a registered nurse in the Alberni Valley for over 30 years and was loved by each and every patient that she cared for and was the friend and confidant of many.  She never, ever stopped giving and rarely had time and money to take care of herself.  Marilyn was a lover of animals and the outdoors and would spend hours in the past year sitting out on her deck in the sunshine with her dog, Harley, surrounded by mountains, trees and flowers. Garnet is survived by his six sisters: Irma Oliver, Blanch Savage (Jim), Audrea King (Wally), Ruby Antrobus, Zella Everist (Barry) and Maisie McKenzie, brother-in-law Stan (Cathy) Bugden, and sister-in-law Margaret Bugden. He will be missed by his wife of sixty-for years Joane Windsor (Bugden) and his seven children; Carroll Reekie (Frank) Kelowna; Phylis Forbes (Raym), Victoria; Archie (Judy) Duncan; Bob (Judy) Cowichan Bay; Cathy Ludvigson (Royce) Duncan; Susan Windsor, Duncan and Ian Windsor, Cowichan Bay, also fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. <br>Garnet travelled to the West Coast by way of Saskatchewan, arriving in Vancouver \"Dead Broke\". He quickly found work with a coastal logging crew at Jervis Inlet. In 1944 he married Joane and they lived in Port Alberni, where The Duke worked at the APL Mill, but he returned to logging as a scaler in 1945. The Duke worked in many logging camps, from Camp 1 and 6 in the Alberni Valley to Leechtown and Bear Creek near the Cowichan Valley. The Duke was well respected in the forest industry, completing his logging career at Jackson Bay in 1971. Tiny grew up in a float house in small communities, primarily Alert Bay and Beaver Cove.  She later moved to Port Alberni, where she lived with her parents, brother and sister.  At the age of 25 she met her husband Dick Goyette, and later settled in Kelowna, B.C., where they raised two boys, Rick and Nick.  Tiny, Dick and their youngest son, Nick, relocated to Abbotsford, B.C., in 1975, where she remained until her death.  She was  <br>predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Dick Goyette in 1998, her brother Sam (Sonny), and sister Dorothy (Babs).  She is survived by her sons, Rick (Candice) of Kelowna, B.C., and Nick of Abbotsford B.C.  Tiny also leaves behind 3 loving grandchildren, Alexis, Jason, and Brayden, and one special great-granddaughter, Mikayla Madelaine Rose.
