Mavis was born at Paddington Hospital and raised with her brothers (William, Terry, Samuel) in London, England. After immigrating to Canada Mavis married Robert James Walsh (November 07, 1940 - July 5, 2000 ) and created a family of three daughters; Susan (Joel) Branchaud, Karen (Edward) Wormald, Patricia Patrick (Rob Snyder), and four grandchildren; Carl Beshara, Tiffany Beshara, Jared Walsh, Michael Patrick. He is survived by his mother Isabelle Peters, sister Patricia Kennedy, nieces Vanessa and Janelle, and nephews Fernando and Nicklaus. A memorial service will be held in his hometown of London, Ontario in the spring. <br>Vic’s life revolved around music, particularly the music of Jimi Hendrix. Deb passed away peacefully in the care of family and friends at the Royal Jubilee Hospice. <br>   She is survived by her beloved husband Cory, mother Lil, brother Terry, daughters Shawna Beaupre (Patrick), Megan Schultz, step sons Jody Baker and Lindsay Baker and 4 treasured grandchildren Ben, Noah, Abby (Shawna), and Hayden (Megan). She is predeceased by her father Ervin Robertson. Deb was born in Calgary and moved around before eventually settling in greater Victoria. <br>   Deb was the “best daughter and mother ever and was very much loved”. She enjoyed walking her dog Buster, traveling especially trips to Las Vegas and Mexico, spending time at her beautiful house and garden, being with family, and having fun with family and friends. Deb touched the lives of many people with her smile, laughter, sly jokes, unconditional love, generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor throughout her ordeal. She worked at Sullivan’s Barber shop in Langford for many years and made many very close friends who have supported her unconditionally to the end. <br>   There will be a celebration of Debs life at the family house in Langford on January 16, 2010, 1pm to 5pm.
